Taxonomy of Team Processes

Teams transition through different processes during their tenure. These processes are dependent upon the team’s maturity, the tasks assigned to the teams, the KSAs of team members, the context, and the ability of team members being able to work as a team.

The team processes presented by Marks et al. (2001) are non-linear because teams can be working on activities belonging to more than one processes at any given time.
