The University of North Texas (UNT) will be offering an undergraduate program in Team Science. There will be three concentrations (two certificates for credit) and one university minor available through this team science program. This program is offered by the Department of Learning Technologies at the College of Information, UNT. Courses will begin in the Fall of 2018 and will be offered online and face-to-face. (two separate mediums) Courses will be offered online at the main campus (UNT), with face-to-face options at both the New College at Frisco-UNT campus and the Universities Center at Dallas campus.
This program will also be offering two workshop certificates. Each course in the Team Science program has a professional development workshop. These workshops provide a workshop certificate upon completion. The first certificate will be for Team Science Characteristics, and the second for Team Science Techniques. Currently, the workshops are scheduled to be offered at the New College at Frisco-UNT campus, but can also be offered in-house if any company is interested in a team science professional development program.
